Introduction
Breast Friends York aims to provide peer support, friendship, activities and services which meet our members’ needs, in accordance with the rules set out in our Members’ Agreement. We believe we achieve this most of the time: if we are not getting it right please let us know. In order to ensure our peer support, friendship, activities and services remain at a high and improving standard, we have a procedure through which you can let us know if, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your dealings with Breast Friends York.
How to Make a Complaint
If you are not happy with Breast Friends York please tell us. This can be via email, private message, telephone or verbally to one of our Board of Trustees.

How we will Deal with your Complaint
All written complaints will be logged. Where possible, we will endeavour to acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours and respond within 7 days, setting out how the problem will be dealt with. When the matter is more complicated, we will give you at least an initial response within five working days with an indication of timescale for a full response.
Making a Formal Complaint
If you are not satisfied with our response or wish to raise the matter more formally, please write to the Chair of Trustees at our registered address: 44 Garfield Terrace, York, YO26 4XU, or email: info@yorkbreastfriends.org, who will report the matter to the next quarterly meeting of the Trustees, which will decide on any further steps to resolve the situation.

Finally, please also let us know if you are happy with Breast Friends York’s services. Any compliments or comments received will be shared with the Board of Trustees and relevant members. Any quotes will only be used for promotional purposes where express permission has been given.
