PEER SUPPORT

Our members are our volunteers . By joining the group and sharing experiences people are helping other members. 

Join in with our sewing workshops. Anyone with a desire to support people with breast cancer can take part.  There are plenty of jobs to do for non sewers and every little helps. Contact us for details. 

Follow us on our public social media pages and share our content to help spread the word. You never know when someone will need us, so frequent reminders mean that we are more likely to pop onto someone’s platform just when they need us.

£1 pays for a set of leaflets to give a patient about our services

£3 pays for a drain bag for someone leaving hospital following a Mascectomy.

£4 pays for refreshments for a 1-1 coffee meet up for a new member

£5 buys a heart pillow for a breast cancer surgery patient

£6 pays for 1 place at a Yoga class

£8 pays for our phone service for a month

£25 pays for a place at one of our half day Yoga retreats

£50 pays for a Meditation/Mindfulness class

VOLUNTEER 

Talk to us about joining our Board of Trustees to help run the charity,  volunteer to help with the running of the support group is a less formal way, i.e. helping to run a meeting or lunch event. Become a Buddy to someone new to help them settle in and find their way around. Or help arrange a coffee meet up with a small group of people - any form of support or help is always appreciated.
